Introduction
SUA SACCOS management system was developed so as to help the members to save money as well as borrowing from their accounts. Not only that but also to provide education to its members on how build their capital. Hence improvement of their living standards.
SUA SACCOS is among of the SACCOS in Tanzania which involves workers from Sokoine University of Agriculture. This deals with both saving and borrowing of the money. A customer saves the money to his or her account each month and after having a savings he or she may borrow a loan for different purposes.

For being a member of this organization the first requirement is being a worker at Sokoine University of Agriculture. Also a customer must pay ten thousand for entrance. After paying that amount of money a customer will become a member of SUA SACCOS.

After a customer has saved a certain amount of money according to SUA SACCOS he or she may borrow twice of the amount of money saved. Example if a customer deposited two hundred thousand (200,000/=) he or she may borrow up to a maximum of four hundred shillings (400,000). After being given that amount of money a customer is given a time to pay for that money with an interest. If a customer fails to pay that amount of money a penalty will be paid by the customer.

Also SUA SACCOS participates in social problems such as funeral where a member is given a certain amount of money. This is given to a member who has lost either wife, husband, a child, farther or mother. A money is given only when a customer have lost one of the five family members.

Also on the other side if a customer deposits in his or account an interest will be given to that account. SUA SACCOS offers an interest rate to these customers who deposit their money for a time without withdrawing it. Therefore these customers with large amount of money they are paid high interest depending on the amount of money deposited.

All of these transactions are recorded on the customer’s account. Each customer has his or her records on savings and borrowings. Customers are given a copy of his transactions each month. A customer will have a copy of his transactions. Thus a customer is aware of the balance or credit in the account.
